Tilburg is a true city of Brabant, with excellent restaurants, many welcoming bars, theaters and cinemas. In and around the city center, there are many events and festivals including experimental music festivals, but also the biggest funfair in the Benelux and Festival Mundial.

These festivals draw both national and international visitors. They often combine their visit to the city with trips to the Beekse Bergen or the Efteling. These top attractions are less than a 15-minute drive from the city.

Tilburg is a green city. Magnificent nature areas such as the Oisterwijkse Bossen & Vennen and National Park de Loonse en Drunense Duinen are a 10-minute drive from the city. If you would rather stay closer to home, you can unwind in one of the large 19th century parks. Stadsbos013 is truly unique. It is larger than the Amsterdam Forest or the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. An undiscovered treasure in the southwest of Tilburg where city and nature meet. Part of the Stadsbos013 is the Oude Warande, one of the few intact and well-kept 18th century star-shaped forests in the Netherlands.

Museum lovers can indulge themselves in the Textile Museum or De Pont, a leading museum of contemporary art. The concert hall and theater boast a wonderful program, as do Pop Center 013 and Paradox, the Netherlands’ second most influential jazz stage.
